An Annual Social Mixer Raising Money To Offer Recovery For Our Community.
Our Charity Social Mixer
On March 14th, 2018 the S.V. Foundation will host our inaugural social mixer at Mint on Mellwood, in Louisville KY. Our goal is to build community awareness around THE MOCKTAIL PROJECT. Sure, we raise as a bunch of money at our event, but we want to have fun first and foremost. Crafting Cocktails, Mocktails, and Coffee all paired with great food and live music.
What Does Mocking Off Even Mean?
MOCKING OFF has become a term the S.V. Foundation has coined as a lifestyle choice for social inclusion. A DRINK FOR YOU is not only a charity social mixer to help raise money for our communities' most at-risk and vulnerable citizens, but a platform to educate our community on the importance of being socially inclusive. Crafting mocktails gives our community an elevated beverage option in social settings that otherwise would not seem inclusive to the outsider. Our event name, A DRINK FOR YOU, was thoughtfully created to support our philosophy that everyone deserves to have a drink made specially for them!
MOCKING OFF WAS MEANT TO BE FUN!
A DRINK FOR YOU is a night to celebrate inclusion. A night to break down social barriers allowing friends and family members to feel comfortable amongst one another, regardless of their beverage of choice. A DRINK FOR YOU is a night that the S.V. Foundation can showcase what a safer, more inclusive drinking culture can look like to our community while having a little fun without the social pressures of wondering what you can order from your bartender.
